Gateway Formatting Screen


The Gateway Formatting screen manages policies, SLA, Actions, Gateway Methods, logging messages, setting the state of the gateway, setting the gateway version.

Items to interact on this screen are shown in the Figure: Gateway Formatting Page screenshot. These items and explanations are given below.

  • 1: The policies applied to requests from the Client to the Gateway are displayed in this section in the order of processing.

  • 2: Policies applied to requests forwarded to the API through the gateway are displayed in this section in the order of processing.

  • 3: Policies applied to requests returned from the API are displayed in this section in the order of processing.

  • 4: The policies applied to the responses sent from the gateway to the client are shown in this section in the order of processing.

  • 5: Clicking this button opens the policies window where the relevant message traffic is managed. This window is generally used to add a new policy and execute order operations of policies.Click to create a new policy for the gateway.

  • 6: Clicking this button will start or stop logging messages of the region where the corresponding message traffic is managed. If the header, body and parameters of the message in the region are stopped, the button is displayed in orange.Click to set the message log of the gateway.

  • 7: There is a link to the name of the gateway. Clicking on this link opens the Gateway’s Service Information window, where the gateway contains Endpoints and API Definition File information. Click to check the accessibility of the access points.Under the gateway name, there are information about the API type and whether the gateway is active.

  • 8: If you want detailed logging for the gate, you must activate the detailed tracing button.

  • 9: Clicking on this link opens the API Summary window where the gateway contains Endpoints and API Definition File information.

  • 10: Click the Create New SLA button to add the SLA to the gateway.Click here to create a new SLA or Action.

  • 11: Click the Unregister this SLA from gateway button to delete the SLA from the gateway.

  • 12: When you click the Stop button, the status of the Gateway Server becomes PASSIVE.

  • 13: When the Deploy button is clicked, the Gateway Server status becomes ACTIVE.

  • 14: Clicking on the gateway’s external access address will direct you to the web service. Clicking the icon on the right side of this field will copy the external access address of the gateway.

  • 15: Clicking Back to Description will be directed to the Gateway’s Basic Information screen.
