For messages going from API or coming from the API, defining a set of rules, constraints, and conversions for security, performance enhancement and definition of conversions is generally referred to as policy.
A policy can be added as a Global Policy or Local Policy to the gateway.
A global policy can be defined for multiple gateways to use the same policy. The arrangements on the global policy are also automatically changed on the gateways where the policy is added.
There are 3 methods of creating global policies. These;
Click on the corresponding button in the 4 regions in Policies and Transformations on this screen, which opens the window where the policies are managed.
Click on the policy menu that contains Global Policies in the Gateway Manager menu.
A new global policy can be defined in the window that opens when you click the Add New Policy button on the relevant policy page.
Local policy can be defined to create a custom policy only for the relevant gateway, which is not intended to be used by another gateway. Local policies are added only through the formatting screen of the gate.
