Database Connection Pool Definitions


Databases that are created by default on the database connection pool page are located in the Database Connection Pool. Creating a database connection pool makes it easier for situations such as Creating an API from a Database, Identifying Authentication Service.

Database Connection Pool Definition

Operation 1: New Database Connection Pool Definition

  • Click the New Database Connection Pool Definition button on the Database page.
  • In the window that opens, the information of the database to be linked must be entered. The fields to be entered and the explanations of these areas are given below.
    • Name: Name of the connection pool definition.It must be unique.
    • Description: Describe the connection pool definition.It may help during management.
    • IP/Host: IP or Host name of database.
    • DBMS : Type of DBMS.
    • Port: Port number.
    • Database: Database schema name.
    • Username : Username information of the database.
    • Password : Password information of the database.
    • Initial Pool Size: Number of connections to be created during initialization of the pool.
    • Min Pool Size: Number of minimum connections.
    • Max Pool Size : Number of maximum connections.
    • Increment Count: Number of connections to be added to pool when there are no idle connections to init.
    • Max Statements : The maximum number of prepared statements that can be cached per connection.
  • Click Save button to save the operation.
  • By clicking the Test Connection button, the database connection is checked.

Operation 2: Editing Database Connection Pool

  • Click the Edit button on the Database page.
  • In the window that opens, enter the relevant information and click Save button.

Operation 3: Deleting Database Connection Pool

  • Click the Edit button to delete the defined database connection.
  • Click the Delete button in the window that opens.
